Today the sun shone

And in spite of the light snow

The sky speckled with diamond dust

Opposing elements

Dancing

Cascading

With reverence

For the necessity they both hold

The balance they both need

Bask in the light

For it graces your skin with warmth

Divine

Admire the soft powder

As it brushes past strands of hair

An introduction so gentle

Before melting with haste

Unnatural phenomena?

Sunshower

Delight in its presence

Creation's neutrality

A lesson in cardinal poise
